Our Vocational School started education and training in 1986-1987 academic year under the name of Elazig Vocational School with 3 programs: Secretarial Program, Computer Program and Nursing Program. Tourism and Hotel Management Program was opened in 1987-1988 academic year, Fisheries Program was opened in 1988-1989 academic year. In the 1990-1991 academic year, YÖK World Bank II. Industrial Electronics, Construction, Electricity, Control Systems Technology, Computer Hardware, Computer Programming and Machinery programs were opened within the scope of the Industrial Education Project. The Graphics Program was opened in the 1992-1993 academic year. At the beginning of 1993, by the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education, our Vocational School was divided into two separate vocational schools, namely Technical Sciences Vocational School and Social Sciences Vocational School.

In our Vocational School; In 14 programs in 10 departments; Formal programs in Computer Programming, Computer Programming (Remote Learning), Biomedical Device Technology, Electrical, Electronic Technology, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Construction Technology, Occupational Health and Safety, Machinery, Mechatronics, Architectural Restoration, Automotive Technology, Radio and Television Programming teaching is done.

Our Vocational School is the beneficiary Vocational School within the scope of the Development of Vocational and Technical Education (METEM) project implemented by the European Education and Training Research and Development Center, and one of the 8 pilot schools in the Development of Human Resources through Vocational Education Project (İKMEP) financed under the European Union IPA program. is located as. Our vocational school received 509 thousand Euros of material and equipment support in 2009 within the scope of the IKMEP project.

Practical training tools of the Graphics, Textile, Automotive, Radio and Television programming, Occupational Health and Safety programs, which were operating in separate venues until the end of 2016, were completed and moved to our modern laboratories and workshops in our uniquely designed new building at the beginning of 2017.

There are 50 teaching staff and 18 administrative staff in our school.
