Construction Technology Program
The aim of the Construction Technology Program is to train qualified staff who are preferred in the public and private sectors, who are respected, qualified and have international knowledge in their field, and who will meet the needs of our country.
Titles and Employment Areas of Graduates
Students who complete the Construction Technology Program are given the title of "Construction Technician". Construction technician is a qualified person who has knowledge about building concepts and rules, who can control and supervise the construction phases of the building in accordance with the project and specifications.
In our program, education is given theoretically and practically. In our laboratories, experiments and applications related to concrete, soil, highway, structure, topography are carried out. Our students do an internship for 30 working days at the end of the 1st year.
Students who graduate from our program with the title of "Construction Technician"; public sector, civil engineering offices, prestressed concrete and reinforced concrete sector, restoration companies, cement factories, building decoration sector, floor technologies sector, prefabricated building sector, concrete plants, construction laboratories, producer construction companies, building inspection companies, architectural offices, etc. They can find job opportunities in areas such as.
Students who have successfully completed the courses and internship prescribed in our program and have received a total of 120 ECTS credits are eligible to receive an associate degree diploma.
The normal education period of our program is 2 years and the language of instruction is Turkish.
Departments that can be passed with Vertical Transfer
After graduating from the associate degree program, it is possible to study in related undergraduate programs such as Civil Engineering and Architecture with the vertical transfer exam.
