Purpose of the Program

Information and communication technologies are used effectively in almost every aspect of life as indispensable needs of our age. In parallel with this, the computer technology sector is in a continuous and dynamic development due to rapidly changing market and competition conditions at the global level. Due to these characteristics, the computer technology sector attracts the close attention of countries as a strategic industry and special plans are made for this sector. As in the world, it is an important issue to train and employ individuals who have knowledge in the field of computer technologies in our country. The aim of our program is to train qualified, hardworking, qualified, hardworking staff who have sufficient knowledge and experience in computers, who can follow the developments in this field and bring them to the IT sector.

Titles and Occupations of Graduates

Computer Programming graduates are given the title of "Computer Technology and Programming Technician". They are assigned to carry out works related to software and hardware issues in areas where computer systems are used.

Employment Areas

Students who graduate from the Computer Programming Program with the title of "Computer Technology and Programming Technician"; They are employed in companies that produce goods / services in the computer programming sector, computer software and web software service companies, related public institutions and organizations.

Internship Status

Students have to do 30 Working Days Summer Internship in the cities they want on the dates determined by the Vocational School Directorate with the approval of the department head.

Departments that can be passed with Vertical Transfer

Those who successfully complete the Computer Programming associate degree program can make vertical transfer to the following undergraduate programs if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) opened by ÖSYM.

Computer Engineering

Computer Science

Computer Education and Instructional Technology

Undergraduate programs such as Software Engineering etc.
