Electrical Program

Purpose of the Program

Level 5 is an associate degree program that aims to train intermediate workforce (Technician) and gain professional competencies. The aim of the program is to meet the need for intermediate staff in the electricity sector, to train technicians who have the ability to identify, analyze and solve problems in electrical systems, who aim to learn lifelong learning and apply what they have learned in the best way, who know their professional, moral and social responsibilities, who are respectful to human, society and nature, who are compatible with teamwork and participatory technicians.
For this purpose, our students are provided with theoretical basic knowledge as well as practical and skill training. While our theoretical trainings take place in the classrooms of our school, practical and skill trainings are carried out in the laboratory of our department. In addition, computer, electronics, etc. laboratories of other departments of our school are used in the required courses. In this program, students are given theoretical and practical training in basic electricity, electrical manual skills, measurement, electrical sources, structure and control of electrical machines, integrated project, use of electrical energy, control systems, electrical electronic applications and computer usage. In laboratory studies, students are given practical training on basic electrical concepts, introduction of electronic elements, structure and characteristics of electrical machines, speed control and control of electric motors, measurement, programmable logic control.
